Peace Poster Winner

Congratulations to Christian County Lions Club for having the district Peace Poster winner for District M6, Sarah Hamby is from Nixa Jr High School.

She also won at the District and State levels! This is exciting news for Christian County and farther than one of our local students has gone.
Sarah will be honored at the District Convention in April and later in St. Joseph for the state.  We'll keep you posted on her progress and hope to have pictures along the way.

  • 3 = Blue Eye Lions - Chicken Dinner at the Elk Lodge in Kimberling City, M, 5:00-7:00 pm, $10 person
  • 3 = Seymour Lions sponsoring Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, United Methodist Church, 2-7 pm.
  • 6 = Miller Lions Club - Truck & Tractor Pull, 7:00 PM in the Lions Field.
  • 8 = Lions All-Star Basketball Classic, at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO.
  • 15 = Hartville Lions - Annual Truck Pull, 6:30 pm
  • 22 = Ava Lions - 5K Run for Sight & Diabetes
  • 22 = Aurora Lions - 4-person Scramble Golf Tournament (Rain date - June 23)
  • 30 = Mountain Grove Lions - Lake Freebird Triathlon/Duathlon

Missouri State Convention

The Missouri Lions State Convention will be
May 2-5, 2019 at St. Joseph, Mo.  St. Joseph MO is
a very historic town, home of the Pony Express and Jesse James.  The Host Committee is hard at work putting together a fun and informative convention for the Lions of Missouri.  Please make plans to attend now.
